ABOUT ALANNA LUNA:
Former lead singer of Exhibition of Sound (EOS) 2001-2008 a live electronic act that began performing at house parties and underground raves in early 2001 and toured all around Arizona, California & Mexico, Ms. Luna began LIVE DJ/PA performances when they were still considered a novelty. Luna became well known at this time for her unique vocal stylings and quick-change skills, as she would often wear as many as six costumes for an hour and fifteen minute set.
EOS eventually outgrew the still very musically close-minded Arizona electronic dance music (EDM) scene and moved to LA where they were an instant hit and performed at many of the well-known clubs and at several very large-scale festivals. Amazing opportunities presented themselves, so EOS had the chance to perform with incredible and similar acts such as "Live PA" legends INFECTED MUSHROOM and THE SPEAKER JUNKIES at notable venues such as the Key Club & BB King's and at events like Winter Fresh and EDC. Although EOS only released one independent demo EP, "Sacred Places," they are part of the history and evolution of what EDM is today. In 2008 EOS members parted ways and Luna began the long journey as a solo artist and independent filmmaker.
After the breakup of EOS, Luna began to work on producing her own music and collaborating with producer and friend, Mike Da Silva.

INDIE Documentary Release : Sonic Geometry
In September of 2013, Alanna released her first fully self produced short movie "Sonic Geometry: The Language of Frequency and Form" with writer Eric Rankin. Luna single handedly directed, edited, animated and did sound for the project. It has been well received by the music, wellness and scientific communities, and has had over 750,000 views to date.
Luna enjoys and is influenced by all genres of music. She is a multi-instrumentalist who has studied many different types of stringed instruments starting at age 4. She eventually evolved into interests in electronic synthesizers, beat machines and computerized production software. Alanna's favorite artists during her emergence into electronic music were The Orb, Bjork, Pink Floyd, The Doors, The Digable Planets, 808 State, Jesse Saunders, Donald Glaude, and the Sneaker Pimps; but to try and summarize her musical taste is impossible because she loves all music and boasts an itunes catalog of over 11,000 songs.
Luna calls herself "a seeker of knowledge" and maintains a desire to learn to play, and eventually own, as many instruments as she can. She believes in the healing properties of music and is constantly seeking out information about frequency and vibration. Ms. Luna also is an accomplished artist. Her hometown of Tucson AZ, boasts murals she collaborated on with a non-profit organization "The Tucson Art Brigade" that she volunteered for and co-founded with friend and colleague, Michael Schwartz, while she was still in high school. She is a business owner, fine artist of many mediums, has a Bachelor of Science degree in Graphic Design and has more recently become an independent filmmaker.
